Backsplash-a-rama

Dan and I put up a backsplash in our kitchen. Just woke up one Saturday morning with a burning desire to glue stuff to the wall. At least we found a productive way to manifest our fetish! I even got comfortable using the tile saw!

Here's our kitchen when we first bought the house. Check out the fab light fixtures above the table and island! Whew!
And, the after...with task lighting courtesy of Dan-o...plus paint, new fixtures and the backsplash.It has been easy, fun and pretty affordable to add our own touches...which makes this house a home -- and is my favorite part of living here!
