National Day of Prayer

Last Thursday I had the honor of hearing UGA's favorite water girl, Katharyn Richt, speak at the North Atlanta Interfaith Prayer Breakfast. She was so cute, funny and inspiring, one of the best speakers I have ever heard -- the kind that make you wish you were their best friend because then you would have someone cute, inspiring and funny around all the time! Katharyn spoke about being the wife of a major SEC coach, struggles with infertility and adopting two children from Croatia. You could definitely see how prayer and her relationship with God made a huge difference and continues to make a huge difference in her life.

I was able to attend the breakfast because my work was sponsoring it and I feel so fortunate to work in an environment where we can openly share our faith and attend events like a prayer breakfast. And, it was amazing to join hundreds of other business people for a time of prayer and fellowship before we all headed to work Thursday morning. Let's never take lightly the freedoms we have in this country!
